"Le code panafricain des investissements, modèle imparfait d’un droit international économique au service du développement durable", Revue africaine de responsabilité sociale et management durable [ en ligne ], 2019, vol. 1, n°1

Abstract : The Pan-African Investment Code, adopted in late 2016 by a committee of African Union experts, provides an interesting model for these new international instruments aimed at reconciling foreign investment law, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. The instrument is original and its potential is important for the progress of Corporate Social responsibility or Organizational Social Responsibility (CSR/OSR) in sub-Saharan African countries, and particularly in French-speaking countries that have a tradition of codified law. The legal force of this Code is still to be built, however, and calls for voluntary action by all stakeholders.
